David Harrower`s plays include Knives in Hens (Traverse Theatre 1995); Kill the Old, Torture Their Young (Traverse 1998); Presence (Royal Court 2001); Dark Earth (Traverse 2003). Adaptations include Six Characters in Search of an Author (Young Vic, 2000); Ivanov (National Theatre, 2000); Woyzeck (Lyceum, Edinburgh 2000); and Tales from the Vienna Woods (National Theatre 2003). His new version of Brecht`s A Good Soul of Szechuan opens at the Young Vic in May 2008.
